Arsenal stars ?consider Vinicius Jr a done deal? as Brazilian star ?rejects? Real Madrid offer

Arsenal players reportedly believe Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior is on his way to the Emirates, with reports claiming the potential transfer is viewed as a done deal within Mikel Arteta’s dressing room.

According to Diario AS, Arsenal sporting director Andrea Berta has informed some players that the club is working to secure the Brazilian forward, while Arteta has already spoken to Vinicius about the role he could play in the team’s ambitions.

The speculation comes as Vinicius remains locked in contract negotiations with Real Madrid. Reports suggest the Spanish club are unwilling to meet his salary demands, with the winger said to be seeking wages comparable to teammate Kylian Mbappé’s reported £500,000-per-week deal. Real Madrid’s current offer is reportedly closer to £360,000 per week. The report claims Madrid’s stance is that no player is bigger than the club, making a contract agreement increasingly uncertain and opening the door to a possible Premier League move.

If completed, the transfer would rank among the biggest in Premier League history, with Vinicius potentially joining fellow Brazil international Bruno Guimarães, who is also reportedly close to sealing a move to Arsenal following the club’s reported £75 million agreement with Newcastle United. However, no official agreement has been announced by either Arsenal or Real Madrid, and Vinicius’ future remains unresolved.
